RAF HUSSAIN

Raf Hussain, Head Coach of 8 Limbs Muay Thai started boxing at 7 yrs old, and came across Muay Thai at the age of 14. He fell in love with the sport, trained hard and started competing.  By 18, Raf was teaching Muay Thai full time and also became a National Champion and British champion.

Raf first founded the 8 Limbs Muay Thai academy in Coventry in 2010. With the fast growth of the Coventry gym, the second branch soon opened in Birmingham in 2014. Both academies are running regularly with the member base increasing week on week. Raf has now been in the game for over 25 years, producing many successful fighters who have gained international recognition.

  • 2017 Awarded Unsung hero of the year at The British Martial Arts Awards
